Ukraine Crisis Support Fund provides financial support

The Ukraine Crisis Support Fund has been established. It is a small grants fund for seafarers and their families who have been impacted by the war in the Ukraine and who need immediate and urgent financial support. The International Seafarers’ Welfare and Assistance Network (ISWAN) manages the fund. It can provide financial grants of up to USD 500 to seafarers and their families in need to help with expenses including medical, rent, living costs, or educational support for children. It can also provide compensation of up to USD 1,000 to next of kin if a seafarer has died as a direct consequence of the Ukraine crisis. Click here for more information.
