SIM cards in Port of Rotterdam

Organisations united in the Rotterdam Port Welfare Committees, including the Dutch Seafarers’ Mission Rotterdam, distribute SIM cards on board to seafarers who want to be in close contact with their family members due to the Russia-Ukraine War. Other ports are also considering following this initiative. The organisations also offer pastoral and social support on board whenever a crew member needs this.
