NZC sets up Emergency Fund

The Dutch Seafarers’ Foundation (Nederlandse Zeevarendencentrale, NZC) has decided to set up an emergency fund to help Ukrainian and Russian seafarers in desperate need. This emergency fund is available for seafarers who are in urgent need of help due to payment problems with a blocked bank card. The fund primarily aims to provide for basic needs, such as sim cards, hygiene products and other practical necessities. These seafarers will be able to request support at any Dutch port, from the local Seaman’s Mission or from a Ship Visitor.

To sufficiently support as many seafarers as possible, NZC calls upon other companies and organisations to follow their lead and contribute to this emergency fund! For contributions, please contact Mr. Danielse (info@chdanielse.nl) or  penningmeester@zeevarendencentrale.nl.
